My name is Geraldine Langdon and I offer pet care services with a 'home from home' approach here in South Gloucestershire. I set up Gerry's Home From Home in 2006 after deciding to follow my dream of working with animals. Throughout these years, i have gained valuable knowledge, understanding and experience of caring for animals, both big and small.
My Story
The business is run by myself, Gerry, with the help of my husband, Gareth who will accompany me to help out or to cover in busy times and sickness etc.
This service is designed for individuals who would rather not have to use boarding establishments and prefer their pets to being in their own comforts throughout the day whilst you're out.
I live in Stone, Berkeley Gloucestershire and have kept pets for many years. My latest pet was a Newfoundland called Harrison, I took on Harry when he was a puppy, Walking him for his owners regularly. Circumstances changed and I had the opportunity to rehome harry in 2014, This allowed me to gain valuable experience with large breeds.
We offer a variety of services which can be tailor made to suit each individual.

I am fully Insured including loss of keys, I have in the past been police checked as I was a Coordinator of our local Neighbourhood watch and my Husband has an up to date ENHANCED DBS certificate.
It is with a saddened Heart that we had to say Goodbye to our beloved Newfoundland Dog Harry who crossed the Rainbow Bridge so suddenly in October 2020💔😔🌈🐾
